Dr Graham Foster is an experienced Senior Public Health Consultant who joined NHS Forth Valley in 2001 after working as a Senior Medical Officer in the Public Health Policy Unit of the Scottish Government.  He has a wide range of experience including Acute Services and Child Health, Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC), Early Years Collaborative, Health protection and Emergency Planning.  He has held various posts including NHS Board Child Health Commissioner, Clinical Lead for the Diabetes MCN, Interim Associate Medical Director for Women and Children’s Unit,  Clinical Lead for Paediatrics and Chair of the BMA Local negotiating Committee. He is currently a Deputy Faculty Advisor for the Faculty of Public Health

Fiona joined Falkirk Council as Head of Policy and Performance Review in 1995 in the run up to re-organisation having previously been Head of Operational Support for Social Work Services with Central Regional Council. Fiona has a planning degree from Glasgow University and was previously a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Fiona supports Falkirk Council in its approach to community planning, corporate, services and business planning, best value, community safety, Inequalities, communications and health improvement.

CONSULTANT IN PSYCHIATRY

Claire McIntosh has been the Lead Clinician at the Community Alcohol and Drug Service for four years, and is a member of Forth Valley and Falkirk ADPs, and chairs the Forth Valley ADP Critical Incident and Drug Related Death Subgroup. Claire is a Consultant Psychiatrist, and prior to taking up her post in Forth Valley completed her higher specialist training in Lothian. She has specific interests in substance misuse in pregnancy and the treatment of alcohol problems. Out with work Claire enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.

Kathy O’Neill has worked for the NHS since leaving university in 1981. She has worked in Glasgow, Dumfries and Galloway and Forth Valley. Her particular interest is in Mental Health and Community Services. She is currently the General Manager for Clackmannanshire CHP and Head of the Hosted Mental Health Services. She is also leading work around the development of Community Services including Community Hospitals. She is married to Paul and has two children, Hannah and Oliver.

Elaine joined FV ADP in November 2006 in her current role as Coordinator. Her experience spans across the Primary and Acute Care settings of the NHS. More recently, over the last six years, her time was dedicated to working to improve the health of our communities, working within the Health Promotion Department. This work covered topics such as Alcohol, Drugs, Tobacco and Mental Health Promotion. Elaine is an experienced trainer, and carries out a voluntary harassment advisory role within the NHS.

Elaine Brown has worked with the Forth Valley Alcohol and Drug Partnership since April 2006 covering the Stirling Council area. After qualifying with a BSc Psychology degree (2001) and a Professional Social Work Diploma (2004), Elaine worked as the Parasuicide Social Worker for Stirling Council for almost 2 years. Since joining the ADP, Elaine’s particular areas of interest are parental substance misuse and education & prevention.

Anita Dufton : FV ADP Administrator, NHS Forth Valley

Anita Dufton

FV ADP Administrator, NHS Forth Valley

Anita is responsible for day to day running of the administration and systems of FVADP as well as supporting the rest of the team, planning and organising events, data management and office systems support. Along side this Anita also maintains the website and online resources library. Providing front line support to FV ADP services via phone and email support is also part of the role. Anita’s previous experience was secretarial support for Chemistry Academics at Essex University. Anita is married with two daughters.
